- School of Instructions/Workshops – All District Presidents must hold a School of Instruction for their Auxiliaries. Collect District Dues from Auxiliaries. Local Auxiliaries should conduct Schools of lnstruction at their next meeting(s).
- Hospital Month – Send $0.50 per member based on July 1st membership.
- Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen, and Young American Creative Patriotic Art information should be in schools.
- August 27-30 – National Commander-in-Chief s Homecoming-Portsmouth, VA
- August 31 – President & Treasurer’s bond must be paid by this date.
September 2020
- Veterans and Family Support – Support all veterans
- September 10 – Worldwide Suicide Awareness Day
- September 11 – Patriot Day
- September 18 – POW/MIA Recognition Day
- September 27 – Gold Star Mothers/Families Day.
October 2020
- Health & Happiness – Send $0.10 per member based on July 1st membership. To receive a certificate from National Home, send $0.25 or more per member.
- Auxiliary Community Outreach – Participate in Day of Service
- October 29-November 1 – Southern Conference – Asheville, NC
- October 31- Second Audit is due – Be on Time!
November 2020
- VOD/Patriot’s Pen – Send $15.00 per program ($30.00) for Department Scholarships.
- November 3 – Election Day – VOTE!
- November 11- Veterans Day, Distribute Buddy Poppies
- Veterans & Family Support – Start winding down Toys for Tots Campaign
December 2020
- December 10 – Mid-Year Reports due to District Presidents
- December 15 – Meet 100% quota in membership
- December 20 – Mid-Year Reports due to Department Chairmen
- Cancer Grant – Send $2.00 per member based on July 1st membership Texas VFW Foundation – Hold fundraisers to make a donation.
- Events – Hold parties for children, help needy Veterans and their families, care packages for military, gifts for needy children
