Congratulations! Your hard work and experience in your Auxiliary have resulted in you being elected to lead your District forward as District President. This award is about your ability to lead, and the accomplishments of your District. Your leadership, communication skills, and attention to detail will be key to be the Outstanding District President for the Department of Texas. Never an easy task, your time will be further complicated by the scars and losses we have experienced from Covid-19. Not yet knowing how this will affect our Veterans, Auxiliaries, and their families, I do know you will best demonstrate your leadership by serving with Honor, Courage, Commitment For Our Veterans, and Honoring Our Mission to Serve Veterans.

Award to be given to the Outstanding District President of each Membership Division

You must be 100% in all of the requirements listed below to be considered for this award.

The extra points will be used only to break any ties.

Attend the 2020 Year End Convention.
Attend 2020 Department School of Instruction.
Hold a District School oflnstruction by September 1, 2020. All Program Material should be given to the Auxiliaries at this time. District Chairmen should go over ALL National and State Programs at this time.
Ensure all District and Auxiliary Presidents and Treasurers are bonded by 8/15/2020.
Provide me a timely Mid-Year Report showing the above has been completed.
Complete ALL inspectionsby December 15, 2020. This will be verified with Department.
Attend the 2020-2021 Mid-Winter Convention in January 2021.
ALL District and Auxiliary quarterly audits submitted correctly and “on time”. This also will be verified with Department.
Preside over ALL District meetings.
Provide me with a summary (with pictures if you choose) of your accomplishments and activities throughout the year and received by April 10, 2021.
